Bryan city is situated in Brazos County in Texas. It is the county seat of Brazos County, and is situated right in the heart of the Brazos Valley. In 1872, the city was incorporated.

In 1884, the city population was 3,000 whereas in 1900 the population reached 3,589. 1910 population reached 4,132 and in 1920, it was almost 6,307. As per the 2000 census, the city had a population of 65,660 people. As of 2009, the population has reached 72,015 people. Since 2000, the population had a growth of 2.45 percent in its population.

The climate of Bryan is hot during the summer season with temperature reaching 80 degrees whereas the winters are too cold with temperature of 50 degrees. Bryan gets 40 inches of rainfall and 0 inches of snowfall. The month of July is warm with 95 degrees and the month of January is quite low with 40 degrees.
