Tourist Guide Crystal Beach
Crystal Beach is an unincorporated area in the Bolivar Peninsula census designated place. This area is situated in Galveston County in Texas. Situated along 27 miles of beach on Bolivar Peninsula, it is a popular place having opportunities for fishing, camping and such activities.
Crystal Beach site was settled in early 20th century and the community was incorporated in 1971.
As far as population goes, the population reached 787 in 1990. Other estimates show that the community has as many as 1,600 full time residents.
Climate wise, the area gets 90 degree during the warmest month of the year and 70 degree to 60 degree during the coldest month of the year. During the winter time, it dips to almost 40 degrees. The high level of precipitation makes Crystal Beach a wet place, and September is known as the wettest month of the year. On the other hand, February is the driest month of the year in Crystal Beach.
