Denison: Parks and Gardens

Eisenhower State Park is situated on the shores of Lake Texoma, northwest of Denison in Grayson County. It is spread over an area of 423.1 acres. In 1954, a Department of Army lease acquired this park and this lease extends till 2004. It was thrown open to the public in 1958. Here, one can find grassy uplands, rare remainders of woodlands, shoreline bluffs and tall grass prairie.
