Frisco is a city in Collin County, Texas. It is regarded as one of the fastest growing cities in Texas and houses around 92,000 inhabitants. Frisco City, as it was called earlier, was incorporated and given its present day name in 1908.
Frisco is characterized by a temperate climate with mild winters and humid summers. July is the hottest month; January, the coolest. This area receives moderate rainfall, while snowfall occurs rarely.
In earlier days, Frisco was a thriving settlement with the newly opened St. Louis-San Francisco railroad. Today, Frisco is a developing trade centre with a well-defined economy.
