Grapevine Lake can be referred to as one of the freshwater lakes located in region of ‘North Texas’. It had been made in the year 1952 by US Army Corps of Engineers. It was the period when Denton Creek was dammed by them. Primary purposes of this lake include ‘flood control’ and ‘acting as water reservoir’. Secondary functions included provision of natural land area and recreation.
