The Gregg County Historical Museum building was built in 1910 as Citizens National Bank. After numerous restoration and installation of exhibits, this museum opened in 1984. The building, namely the Everett Building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and also has a Texas Historical Market. Some of the permanent exhibits include displays centered on farming, timber, schools, commerce and business. There are also video interview collections of Gregg County residents.
