Tourists will enjoy at Mountasia Park as there are a number of fun activities here for adults as well as children such as bumper boats and water slides. The adults can enjoy cart racing on mini race cars around the tracks, if they have their licenses.
South Padre Island is a lovely beach which lies seventy five miles from McAllen and has a number of hotels, bars and water sport activities available.
It is best to visit this place during off season to avoid the crowd and higher room rates.There are several shopping malls in McAllen as well as Flea markets to keep you busy.
Do not forget to get light summer clothes and shorts as the weather is hot and sunny and also do pack sunglasses, sunscreen as well as hats to protect from the glaring rays of the sun.
