The Zion Hill Baptist Church was constructed in 1914 and has seriously been deterioted due to negligence. Its congregation’s first home was a one room frame structure which was to the west of the present old Baptist Cemetery. By 1914, the membership grew and the solvency of this church was recognized by the white community. Its architect was Dietrich Rulfs.
