Lake Nacogdoches is situated ten miles to the west of Nacogdoches city in Texas. The surface area of this amazing lake is 2,212 acres and its maximum depth is 40 feet. This lake was impounded in the year 1976. The most famous game fish here is the largemouth bass. Due to the 14 to 21 inch slot limit, Nacogdoches is known for producing trophy sized bass. Moreover, there are also catfish and sunfish. The habitat consists of submerged aquatic vegetation, boat docks and also a standing timber.
