Tourist Guide Cottonwood Heights
In Utah in the United States, the Salt Lake County has an affluent city called as Cottonwood Heights. It lies to the North of Sandy, to the East of Midvale and to the South of Murray and Holladay. It is situated along the East bench of the Salt Lake Valley. On 14th January 2005, this city became the newest municipality of Utah. The total area of the city is 17.6 square kilometers and this is entirely land. The Money Magazine rated Cottonwood Heights as the #100 on the Best Places to Live list in 2007. This city houses the corporate offices of Mrs. Fields, Jetblue Airways and Extra Space Storage. This city is a part of the Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area.
The population of Cottonwood Heights as per the 2000 census was 27,569.
The warmest months are July and August when the temperatures vary from 65 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. During December and January, the temperatures fluctuate between 20 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit and these are the coolest months.
