The Draper Historic Theatre was a common theatre at the beginning. In 1938, Annie Pearl and John A. built this theatre after 50 years and Charles and Vanessa Nelson bought it and presented it to the city as a Non-Profit Organization in 1998. It is now headed by artistic director Kevin McClellan and the board chairman Rhonda Neiswender. It grew as a great place for quality family entertainment. This theatre is also used for by youth and adults to practice their arts. The theatre is home for many art creations.
