The Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management area was built in 1935. The park includes fresh water ponds, marshes, flats and open salt water. The park has a variety of birds including pelicans, cranes, geese, ducks, herons and eagles. Popular activities in the Farmington Bay waterfowl Management Area include bird watching, viewing the bald eagle migration and more. This area is a good spot for biking.
