A State Park that is open all year round, has an elevation of 4,100 feet, 42 unit camp grounds, hot showers, a boat launching ramp, nine hole golf course and an amphitheater is called Green River State Park and is a decent place that can be enjoyed in the company of family and friends.
Replicas of different types of boats used in the west waterways are housed is John Wesley Powell River History Museum. It is an interesting museum as it is entertaining and educative.
