The Sand Sanctuary is situated about 31 miles towards the West of Nephi. A unique plant species is found in this place which is called as giant four-winged saltbush or Atriplex canescens variety of gigantea. This variety of saltbush grows naturally at only one place in the world which is the dune fields of Little Sahara.
