Bridal Veil Falls is a waterfall or cascade which drops from a height of 607 feet and forms an icefall in winter. There is a cable railway which leads to these falls which lie in the Provo Canyon. One can visit the Stairway to Heaven which is a popular icefall here and indulge in activities such as hiking or climbing.
Brigham Young University has a huge campus area of six hundred and thirty four acres in Provo and was built in 1875 by the Mormons. The university has a hundred and twelve feet bell tower and offers courses in eleven colleges. The university encompasses a number of tourist attractions which can be viewed by taking a guided tour.
These attractions include the BYU Museum of Art, BYU Harris Fine Arts Center, BYU Earth Science Museum, BYU Marriott Center, BYU Cougar Stadium and more. The Seven Peaks Water Park is an amusement park in Provo which has a giant wave pool, waterslides and a number of other attractions for kids as well as adults.
