Towards the West of this city is the town of Hooper and towards the East of this city is the Hill Air Force. Roy is located at a distance of ten kilometers towards the Southwest of Ogden. It is separated from Salt Lake City by 52.30 kilometers. The gross area of the city is 19.7 square kilometers which is totally covered by land and there is no trace of water. The elevation of Roy is 4,541 feet. It is in the Mountain Standard Time Zone.
Roy had a population of 32,885 as per the 2000 census.
