The City Center is located in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. It a development center which has shopping center, office and residential building and fountain and stream under construction near Temple Square. This center is scheduled to be completed by 2012.
The city will be one of few in the nation with a vibrant, mixed-use development at its core. The construction was started in 2003.The Center will feature an open air design, with features like fountains, multi-level sidewalks and streams. The City Creek Center will be anchored by two national department stores: Nordstrom and Macy.
