Sandy operates over 32 parks within the 28 square miles of Sandy City, as well as having access to one regional park (Dimple Dell Regional Nature Park) and several Salt Lake County parks.City Parks are also available for reservations of groups or individuals. Most have outdoor pavilions and many have restroom facilities.The Sego Lily Garden in one of the first demonstration gardens along the Wasatch Front to emphasize low-water use plants and landscaping. At the garden there are a large variety of drought tolerant plants, including trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses, groundcovers and vines. It is located at 1472 East Sego Lily Drivel.
