Sandy Museum is a historical museum which was built in 1987 and has been shifted to the old Oregon Trail from Sandy City Hall where it was previously located. The museum displays several artifacts from the historical past of the town. Buttercup Park is a municipal park which has an outdoor pavilion, a jogging trail, tennis courts, basketball courts, softball field and more. Hansen House is ancient Victorian building built in the year 1887 and now serves as a bed and breakfast venue. The structure also features on the National Historic Register. Henry’s House of Trains is a museum which displays a collection of miniature toys and collectibles. There are a number of municipal parks in Sandy such as the Alta Canyon Park, Flat Iron Mesa Park, Aspen Meadows Park, Bicentennial Park and more.
