It is a mountain range which is stretched over 160 miles, starting from the border of Utah Idaho, and continuing from the middle of Utah from the southern side, up to the western side of United States.
Popular as the eastern part of the Great Basin territory and western frontier of the Greater rocky mountains.
The Bear Mountains which are known as the northern wing of the Wasatch Range continues in the Idaho forming the complete Wasatch Range in the state.
As per the Utah History Encyclopedia, the actual meaning of Wasatch in the Ute language is Low pass over the high range.
