West Jordan is a rapidly growing suburb of Salt Lake City, with a balanced housing mix, quality commercial districts and a strong industrial base.
The Jordan Landing mixed-use development is the focal point of retail development and is one of the largest shopping centres in Utah. As of the 2000 Census, the city had a population of 68,336; by 2005, West Jordan had an estimated population of 91,444, placing it as the fourth most populated city in the state.
