Valdez has two great Glaciers and a lovely canyon. These sights are amusing for tourists and the local people.
The two glaciers are called Colombia Glacier and Worthington Glacier.
The canyon is called the Keystone Canyon; people usually enjoy the white water rafting on the lower river.
The Colombia Glacier is the largest tidewater in the whole of Alaska, and the Worthington Glacier has a spectacular view with a great hiking trail.
A very famous museum here is The Valdez Museum and Historical Archive.
Places that are close to Valdez are Seward and Cordova; these places are connected through the ferries, charter boats and flight seeing planes.
A very popular festival here is the Oktober Fest, which takes place in the month of October.
