Brattleboro is a popular weekend spot among wealthy New York and Connecticut tourists with several celebrities like Johnny Depp, Robin Williams, Bill Cosby and Nicole Kidman, visiting the city. Capers, Peter Havens, 39 Main, Max's and T.J. Buckley's are few notable dining restaurants.
The city is known for some amazing tourist attractions like the Robb Family Farm & Country Store, Vermont Center for Photography and Windham Art Gallery. The Bellows Falls and Whitingham are the places located near Brattleboro that have developed into mostly visited tourists places.
The city of Brattleboro has a much appreciated arts community with the Gallery Walk being a much waited event held on the first Friday of each month. There are few other events held in the city throughout the year.
