Fairfax is a town located in the Franklin County, Vermont in U.S.A.
The city is situated in the south east of Vermont closer to the coastal lines. According to the census recorded in 2000 the population was recorded to be around 3,765. Recently in 2007 the Census Board estimated the city to have a population of 5,129 which is a tremendous increase thus describing it as a developing city in Vermont.
The average temperature here is maintained to be around 26 degrees during the day. The town expereiences moderate rainfall in the months of June and July. According to the American Census Bureau, the city is supposed to have a total area of 40.5 square miles out of which, 40.2 square miles consists of land and 0.3 square miles of it is water.
Thus the city contains very less quantity of water. Fairfax has a railway station and a Greyhound bus stop for the convenience of transport. Local bus service is provided for the local people residing here.
