Vermont, United States, has a County called Chittenden where there is a town named Jericho. Throughout the world, the town of Jericho is remembered as the lifelong home and birthplace of Wilson Bentley who was an American farmer and he photographed more than five thousand snow crystals. The town of Underhill in Vermont shares a close relationship with Jericho. This combined region has four separate village regions. On Route 15, a large part of the Underhill Flats region is actually in Jericho. This region has two general stores and the multi-use Mills Riverside Park.
As per the 2000 census, the population of Jericho was 5015.
The warmest months are July and August with temperatures ranging from 55 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit. January is the coolest month with temperature varying from 5 to 25 degrees Fahrenheit.
