Killington Mountain celebrated its 50th birthday in the year 2008 Dec 13. The total amount spent for the improvement of the mountain is more than $8.4 million. It was opened on Dec 13 1988 with two lifts and seven trails and today it has seven mountain picnic areas, 29 lifts and 191 trails.
The snowfall in this mountain area is 250 inches per year. During the season’s events a world class athletic competition, entertainment, on show activities and entertainment will be arranged.
