Monkton is a city which is located in the Addison County of Vermont. It is located to the west of the towns of Bridport and Bristol. The industrial city of Leicester is also close to this city. The population here is found to be 1,759. This city spans a total area of about 36.2 square miles, out of which only 0.2 miles are water and the rest is land. A maximum portion of the land is used for cultivation and other green projects. Monkton is supposed to be well known for its social services. Clubs like ‘The Cedar Lake Club’ and the ‘Florana Grange’ are some of the well recognized social clubs. Monkton is also a very popular venue for parties, get-togethers and receptions because of its beautiful venues and lavish social lifestyle. Christianity is the main religion followed here and this is depicted by the number of churches here. The climate here is often cool with an average temperature of about 18 degrees which makes a wonderful atmosphere throughout the year.
