The city is home to some of Europe’s best and most challenging ski trails. During winter, it offers tourists a number of skiing, snowmobiling, ice skating and snowshoeing opportunities. The Front Four Trails are highly renowned ski trails, attracting skiers from all over the continent.
The highest point of Vermont, Mt. Mansfield, is renowned for its outdoor activities and adventures. The Stowe Recreation Path, also known as the Stowe Bike Path, is a popular recreational trail.
The city also provides a number of hiking, biking, swimming, golfing, fishing, hot air ballooning and canoeing opportunities during the summer and fall months. Stowe, during fall, offers stunning views of beautiful hillsides and maple trees.
Owing to its rich culture and tradition, Stowe hosts a wide range of festivals and seasonal events. Some of the widely celebrated events include the Green Mountain Regatta, Vermont Days and Green Mountain Corvette Classic.
