The town of Waitsfield is situated in Washington County in Vermont, USA. Located on the Mad River, the town covers an area of 69.7 sq km and has a population of around 5,000.

Waitsfield was named after its founder General Benjamin Wait. Located in the fertile Mad River Valley, agriculture plays an important role in the town’s economy.

Waitsfield has a moderate climate characterized by warm summers and mild winters. In summer, the average temperature is 22°C, while the average winter temperature is –5°C.

The picturesque town is blessed with a beautiful landscape consisting of farmlands and mountainous forests. With a vibrant community, pleasant weather and a thriving arts scene, the town has been transformed from a farming community to a resort destination.
