Woodstock is situated in Windsor County in Vermont, USA. Located on the Ottauquechee River in the Green Mountains, the town covers an area of 115.6 sq km and has a population of around 6,000.
First settled in 1768, the town is lined with old homes and quaint shops that take visitors back to the old era, earning it the nickname of the ‘quintessential New England village’.
Summers are warm with an average temperature of 22°C. Winters are cold and are accompanied by snowfall with an average temperature of –5°C.
Woodstock is blessed with a beautiful landscape consisting of rolling hills, farmlands, brooks and streams. Without a doubt, Woodstock’s biggest attractions are its natural beauty and serene atmosphere. The Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park is a delight for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The Woodstock Inn & Resort is also a popular landmark.
