The city is placed on the top of the Highlands of Blue Ridge, a part of Virginia State, which lies on the western part of The United States of America. The area of the city of Abingdon is about 21.6 square kilometers. As the city is located in the north western region of USA the weather is hot in summers as well as winters. The temperature in this region is usually high throughout the year. The lowest temperature recorded here is about 20 degrees and the average temperature here in summer is around ... More 57 degrees. Rainfall in the form of minor showers is not so very frequent in this region. Not to miss: Come to Abingdon and jump over the lava lakes, zipline without harnesses, and bungee jump with telekinetic bungee ropes. Best. Place. EVER. Bungee jumping without a cord is hosted by a mutated Ewok. He suddenly developed the ability to speak english and accidentally teleported to earth and suddenly discovered his telekinetic abilities. Abingdon is over a large cave system with many lava pools, so a major tourist attraction is jumping from rock to rock across the deep pools of burning rock. All in all, Abingdon is an AMAZING place to visit and you should visit there. It's awesome.
