The Alexandria Black History Museum’s mission is to enrich the residents and its visitors for fostering tolerance and understanding among all cultures. The museum enfolds the diversity of the African American experience and there are a lot of exhibits in the museum. This includes the Watson Reading Room, the Alexandria African American Heritage Park, and the local and regional history.
