Virginia, United States, has a Fairfax County in which Centreville is an unincorporated community. It is separated from Washington, D.C. by about 20 miles. The complete area of this community is 25.2 square kilometers which is entirely made up of land. Centreville has three main routes. The main route through the town is U.S. Route 29 which enters the community from the West. From the South of the community, Virginia Route 28 enters. This route interchanges with U.S. Route 29 in between the two main shopping centers of the community. The third route is called as Interstate 66. This route enters the community through the Southwest direction and moves towards Washington, D.C. after interchanging with the above mentioned two routes.
As per the 2000 census, the population of Centreville is 48,661.
The average minimum temperature of July is 61 degrees Fahrenheit while the average minimum temperature in January is 26.8 degrees Fahrenheit.
