The National Museum of the Marine Corps is located close to the Marine Corps base in Quantico, Virginia. It is spread over an area of 135 acres. It is a lasting tribute to U.S. Marines and was opened to the public on 13th November 2006. Visitors are able to view irreplaceable artifacts and they are encircled by sounds and sights of Marines in action. This entire structure has an area of 118,000 square feet.
