The Danville Science Center is situated in Danville, Virginia, in the historic tobacco warehouse district. The complex where this center is located is called as “The Crossing at the Dan.” Some of the missions of this center are as follows – to encourage a love of nature and a concern for its preservation, to offer special facilities and collections to study the natural resources of Virginia, to encourage an understanding of the history of scientific endeavor.
