Lynchburg, also known as the City of Seven Hills, is a city in Virginia, USA. Situated at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and on the banks of the James River, the city is 240 m above sea level and lies around 290 km south-west of America’s capital city Washington, DC.
