The Ben Lomond Manor House is known for its Federal architecture and also for its role as a hospital for Confederate and Union soldiers during the Civil War. The house was built in 1832 by Benjamin Tasker Chinn. The garden, Old Rose Garden, has varieties of roses which were planted before the 20th century.
