The Museum provides its visitors a critical view of the 250 years of long history of the Portsmouth. Due to the strategic importance it was burned many times in the past and has first drydock in the country. The museum covers the US history from colonial times to the Civil war and beyond. It showcases military artifacts, ship models, and uniform showing the history and life at Portsmouth.
