Fort Frederick
Fort Frederick, a national monument, is perched atop Richmond Hill and is smaller and complements to the imposing Fort George. It was constructed in 1791 and built by the British during the French Revolution. This fort was named after the Duke of York and is one of the initial buildings of Port Elizabeth. It is worth visiting for panoramic view of Algoa Bay.
