Sandbridge Beach
This is a five mile stretch of golden sandy beach situated to the south of Virginia Beach Resort area along the Atlantic Ocean. One can enjoy walking, surfing, and speed boating and sunbathing at the beach. October is the perfect time to visit this beach as it is less crowded and the weather is warm. There are several hotels, restaurants and seafood shops near the beach, thus one can enjoy here along with the family. If one is lucky one can spot dolphins, pelicans and jellyfish at this beach.

Depending on which hotel you stay at, you can sometimes see Dolphins surfacing. I was amazed when I encountered them on tape.
