First Landing State Park was originally built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1930s. This park is the most visited park nestled in Virginia Beach. This park offers facilities like boating, swimming, history and nature programs, picnicking, hiking and even a boat launch. There are almost 19 miles of trails on this 2,888 acres of land. Moreover, there are campsites which has water and electric hook ups and nearby access to showers and restrooms.
