When to visit
Virginia experiences four seasons, having pleasant springs, warm summers, chilly winters and colorful falls. The best and the most preferable time to visit this state are during the summer season. The summer beaches especially in Virginia Beach is worth visiting other than visiting some of the top attractions like the Shenandoah National Park and the Valley. Virginia is a gorgeous place worth visiting in October when the leaves turn to blazing orange, yellow and red colors across the state. This time is also the most crowded in the western part of Virginia. The state is though a year round destination for all; discounts are offered during the time of spring and late fall. Virginia is absolutely a must visit destination for lovers and for enthusiasts who are fond of traveling. Whether it’s the breathtaking rides through the Blue Ridge Mountains or the theme parks and the outdoor activities, Virginia has it all. The cities worth visiting include Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Richmond. Cities like Arlington and Alexandria offer magnificent plantations, cobblestone streets and some old fashioned equestrian farms too.
