Winchester is one of the historical sites in Virginia State. Hence, tourists find several historical attractions spread all over the city.
Visitors can learn some interesting facts about the city at the Handley Regional Library. More than 4000 manuscripts are accumulated in this library. These documents exhibit the historical details of the city.
The museums in the Winchester hold a wide collection of these documents as well.
One of the museums in the city is the Stonewall Jackson's Headquarters Museum. It was the home owned by Mary Tyler Moore's ancestors. This house is now included in the National Historic Landmark.
Christ Church is an 1828 built church with magnificent structures. Visitors can see all such sites while touring in Winchester city.
