Washington has a number of interesting attractions that must not be missed. The Long Beach region of the state is home to several attractions like the World’s Largest Frying Pan or the Marsh’s Free Museum which offers its visitors a unique shopping extravaganza. However, the biggest draw in Washington remains the array of outdoor activities that one can indulge in like Crystal Sea Kayaking-San Juan Islands. Enjoy a day in the sun on the beautiful sandy beaches of Washington like the 4th Beach and the Alki Beach. Step into historical times by visiting the archaeological sites in the state, for example, the Buffalo Eddy Petroglyphs. The Washington State History Museum is an experience in itself, boasting of a varied collection and multimedia exhibits. One of Washington’s premier festivals is the Seattle International Film Festival, which celebrates good cinema from the world over. The Summer Chamber Music Festival, held in Port Townsend, provides for a rare musical encounter. Also, popular events like the Oktoberfest are hosted here in Seattle, Washington.
