The Naval Museum was first open for the public in 1954 and was located in the Craven Center on Burwell Avenue. Later on, it was shifted to Washington State Ferry Building. In the year 1986, this museum became Naval museum of Bremerton. It has more than 600 items and displays items of Navy’s historic past providing valuable and unique historical source of information for the students, researchers and the historians too.
