The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad and Museum was formed in the year 1986 as a nonprofit organization. The founders of the railroad museum were a group of residents of Centralia, whose goal was to restore a 1916 logging locomotive which has been placed in the Chehalis Park some 30 years ago. A visitor can ride on the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad which can be pleasant, relaxing and a scenic journey back in time. On such ride, one can enjoy the sights and the sounds of the steam railroading as it used to be.
