Olmstead Place State Park is 217 acre day Use Park, featuring working pioneer farm. This park also hosts school field trips and tours. There are also pioneer artifacts in the park and many can be seen in action in the work of maintaining the farm. Apart from this, there is also picnic space and walking trails for the children. There are also 17 unsheltered picnic tables in the parks.
