Ellensburg is a city and also the county seat of Kittitas County in Washington. As of 2000 census, the population of the city was 15,414. Ellensburg is also located to the east side of the Cascade Range. The surrounding part of the Kittitas Valley is known internationally for the timothy- hay which it produces. The old part of the town is historic with old brick buildings from the late 19th century.
