Everett is the seat of Snohomish County in Washington, USA. Located on the Snohomish River in Possession Sound, the city covers an area of 123.4 sq km and has a population of around 101,000.
Once a mill town involved in wood-based industries, Everett, today, is a centre for technology and the aerospace industry. It houses the main plant of Boeing, the world’s leading aerospace company.
The climate of the city is moderated by the surrounding waters. Summers are warm with temperatures ranging from 23°C to 12°C, while winters are mild with temperatures ranging between 8°C and 1°C.
The city boasts of the second-largest marina on the West Coast. With many parks, trails and playgrounds, and an inviting climate, the city is a great recreation destination. Summer and winter sports abound at nearby lakes and rivers. Jetty Island, located along the waterfront, features long sandy beaches.Explore map
