Goldendale Observatory State Park is situated on a hilltop to the North of Goldendale in Washington. It provides an unique facility, as it caters to the general public with programs that are educating the new learners and at the same time experienced star gazers. This observatory has various telescopes, one of which measures 24.5 inches which is used mainly for the purpose of public viewing sessions. One has to take an appointment in advance before visiting the observatory.
